Terms and Conditions
STAR Results | Effective date: October 14, 2026.
These Terms and Conditions govern your purchase and use of STAR Results online sales leadership courses, including FOCUSED Sales Coaching, and their associated digital resources hosted on Thinkific. They explain course access, payments, permitted use and your rights if something goes wrong.
1 Who provides the courses
The courses are provided by STAR Solutions That Achieve Results Inc. operating as STAR Results ("STAR Results", "we", "us" or "our"). Thinkific provides the technology used to host and deliver our course site. Your course purchase is from STAR Results, and questions about course content, enrolment or refunds should be directed to us.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Our Refund Policy forms part of these Terms and provides a 30-day full refund period for FOCUSED Sales Coaching and other eligible self-paced courses. Both policies are available on our course site and from us on request.
2 Accepting these Terms
Before purchasing or enrolling, please review these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy and the course description. By accepting these Terms at checkout, enrolment or through a separate written acceptance, you agree to them. If enrolment is arranged for you, we will make these policies available and obtain your acceptance of the Terms before you begin the course. You must be at least the age of majority where you live and legally able to enter into this agreement. If you purchase on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.
3 Course description and access
FOCUSED Sales Coaching includes 12 months of online course access. The course description and checkout information specify the content, delivery format, prerequisites and any included support or live sessions. Coaching, consulting, assessments and other services are included only when expressly stated in your offer. Access periods for other courses are stated in their respective offers before purchase.
If your offer includes a bonus Laser Coaching Session, it consists of one 30-minute call conducted through Zoom. Contact [email protected] to arrange a mutually agreed time; we will provide the Zoom joining details before the session. Any booking deadline, expiry date, notice period or cancellation charge must be disclosed before purchase. If none is stated, we will not impose one retrospectively. If you need to reschedule, contact us as soon as possible; availability will be agreed with you. If we cancel a scheduled session, we will offer another mutually agreed time. A timely full course refund remains available even if you have attended the included session; an unused session is cancelled when the course is fully refunded.
Your 12-month access period for FOCUSED Sales Coaching begins when you are enrolled following successful payment, or on a later start date expressly disclosed before purchase. Online access expires 12 calendar months after that start date. Completing the course early does not shorten the access period. After online access expires, you may continue using downloaded STAR Results coaching tools as permitted in section 7. You need an internet connection and a compatible device and browser. We will disclose any special technical requirements before purchase. Contact us if you cannot access your course.
We may update course materials to improve accuracy or delivery. We will not materially reduce the content or access period you purchased without offering an appropriate remedy. If we discontinue a course before your paid access period ends, we will offer a reasonable alternative with your agreement or a refund for the undelivered portion, subject to any greater rights required by law.
4 Your account and acceptable use
Provide accurate account and billing information, keep your login credentials secure and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. Each enrolment is for one named learner unless a written team licence states otherwise. Do not share accounts, resell access, bypass security controls, upload malicious software, impersonate another person or use the site unlawfully.
In discussions and assignments, treat others respectfully and submit only material you have permission to share. Do not upload confidential customer information, sensitive employee data or other restricted information. We may remove content that violates these requirements and take proportionate steps to protect learners and the site.
5 Prices and payments
The price, currency, applicable taxes and payment schedule are disclosed before you complete your purchase. Payments are processed through the payment provider identified at checkout. Future price changes do not change the agreed price of an existing purchase.
If a payment plan is offered, it divides a fixed course price into instalments. It is not a subscription. The total amount and instalment schedule are disclosed before purchase. Stopping participation does not cancel outstanding instalments, except when a refund or cancellation right applies. An approved full course refund cancels the remaining instalments.
If a subscription is offered, checkout will clearly identify the recurring amount, billing frequency, any trial period and how to cancel. You may cancel through the billing controls available in your account or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation stops future renewals and ordinarily leaves access active until the end of the paid billing period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and applicable law.
If a payment fails, we will notify you and provide a reasonable opportunity to resolve it before suspending paid access. If we identify a pricing or billing error, we will contact you to resolve it. We will not impose a higher price on an existing order without your agreement.
6 Refunds and cancellation rights
FOCUSED Sales Coaching is eligible for a full refund requested within 30 calendar days of the original purchase. Other eligible self-paced courses are covered as described in our Refund Policy. The policy explains how to submit your request, treatment of instalments, subscriptions and included bonus coaching, and removal of course access after a full refund.
Nothing in these Terms or the Refund Policy limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. If consumer law gives you a longer cancellation period or another remedy, that right takes priority. Beginning or completing a course does not, by itself, waive those rights.
7 Course materials and intellectual property
Course videos, books, slides, worksheets, assessments, frameworks and other materials belong to STAR Results or their respective licensors. Your enrolment gives you a limited, non-exclusive licence to access the course for your own learning during the stated online access period. You may download resources expressly made available for download. For STAR Results coaching planners, worksheets and templates provided for practical use, you may complete, adapt and copy them as reasonably needed to coach employees on your own team. You may share those working copies with the employees participating in that coaching. This permission continues after online course access expires, unless your purchase is fully refunded or the permission is lawfully terminated for a material breach. Third-party materials remain subject to their stated licence restrictions.
You may not distribute or sell course materials beyond the practical team-coaching use permitted above, publish them online, share course videos or course access with unlicensed learners, record or reproduce course videos, or use the materials to deliver a competing training program without prior written permission. Practical use of a worksheet with your employees does not give them access to the course or authorize a separate training program. A team licence permits course access only for the number of seats and uses expressly agreed in writing. Intellectual property restrictions do not limit uses permitted by applicable law.
8 Learner submissions and feedback
You retain ownership of your original assignments, comments and other submissions. You grant us permission to store, display and use them only as reasonably needed to deliver the course, provide feedback and operate the relevant learning activities. Content posted in a shared discussion may be visible to other participants.
We may use suggestions to improve our courses, but we will obtain separate permission before publishing your name, testimonial, employer logo or identifiable work as marketing material. Participation in a course does not authorize such publicity.
9 Educational purpose and outcomes
Our courses provide sales leadership education and practical tools. Results depend on your circumstances, decisions and implementation. We do not guarantee a particular revenue increase, attainment of a sales quota, promotion, employment outcome or other business result. Our 30-day money-back guarantee is a refund commitment, not a guarantee of sales or business performance. Certificates, where offered, confirm completion of the stated course requirements and do not imply professional accreditation unless expressly stated.
10 Platform availability and outside services
We aim to provide reliable access, but maintenance, outages and other interruptions may occur. Contact us if an interruption prevents you from using a paid course. We will work to restore access and provide an appropriate remedy when required. Any disclaimer of uninterrupted availability does not remove our obligation to deliver the course described at purchase.
Third-party websites or optional services linked from a course have their own terms and privacy practices. Review those terms before using them. We remain responsible for our own course commitments and obligations under applicable law.
11 Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access for a material breach of these Terms, fraud, unlawful conduct or a serious security risk. Where practicable, we will explain the issue and allow a reasonable opportunity to remedy it. Immediate action may be necessary to protect learners or the site. Refund eligibility will be assessed under our Refund Policy and applicable law; suspension does not automatically eliminate statutory rights.
12 Liability and mandatory protections
To the extent permitted by law, STAR Results is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the courses, including lost profits or lost business opportunities. Our total liability relating to a particular course is limited to the fees paid for that course. These limitations do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, or any liability or consumer remedy that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
13 Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, subject to any mandatory protections under the laws that apply to you. Contact us first with a concern so that we can try to resolve it. Nothing here requires you to waive access to a court, regulator or other dispute process available under applicable law.
14 Changes and order of precedence
We may update these Terms for future enrolments and will show the effective date. We will give notice of material changes affecting ongoing use. Changes do not retroactively reduce an existing purchase commitment or refund right without your agreement, except where required by law.
These Terms, our Refund Policy and the offer disclosed and accepted at purchase form your course agreement. A separate written corporate or services agreement takes priority where it expressly addresses the same subject. Mandatory legal rights always take priority. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
